The beta releases on it's expected date in 2021 to decent success, gaining 10 million players by the end of the year. The name reservation and creator programs release in October 2021. 2 blogposts are released every month detailing the games features, in a similar way as I described in the Best Case Scenario. A new FAQ blogpost coincides with it, detailing many things about the games development. In September 2021, a new trailer is released and concrete release dates are given at the end: A beta in November 2021 and a full release in June 2022. The dev team says that they're confident they'll be able to release a beta by the end of 2021, and a full release by summer of 2022. Postcards continue as normal until late July 2021, when Hypixel announces the return of blogposts, starting with a blogpost discussing the games development. It's also regarded as one of the greatest games of the decade. By 2026, Hytale overtakes Minecraft as the best selling video game of all time, reaching 300 million sales. In November 2022, the first Hycon takes place in Northern Ireland, with the game now reaching 30 million sales. Hytale merchandise is already available in many stores. In January 2022, Hytale gets a new update with loads of new features, cosmetics, and more, while the game is booming. In December 2021, Hytale is awarded Game Of The Year at the Game Awards 2021. In November 2021, Hytale is fully released to universal critical acclaim, and the game sells 10 million copies within the first month. YouTubers and players alike love the game, and it reaches massive popularity almost immediately. In September 2021, the beta for Hytale is released to anyone who signed up over the past few years on Hytale's website. In July 2021, Hypixel releases the name reservation and creator programs. Over the next few months leading up to the beta, blogposts are released every week detailing the games features, including a combat blogpost and blogposts going in depth on server tech and modding tools, among many others. The trailer coincides with 2 new blogposts, an updated FAQ for players and creators alike, and a development update discussing the future timeline for Hytale's beta and release. Postcards continue as they normally do until early June 2021, when during E3 2021, the Hytale team drops a beta announcement trailer, showing brand new gameplay and giving a beta date for September 2021. Keep in mind this is all for a bit of fun and shouldn't be taken very seriously. The Worst Case Scenario is probably the worst timeline I think could reasonably happen outside of the game being straight up cancelled. The Most Likely Scenario is what I think is the most likely timeline that we will see, based on everything we know so far. The Best Case Scenario is the most optimistic timeline that I personally think is reasonable, outside of the game being fully released tomorrow. I'll share 3 timelines that I think are possible for the future of the game, a Best Case Scenario, Most Likely Scenario, and Worst Case Scenario. I know this topic has practically been beaten to death, but I'd still like to share my personal thoughts about how the eventual beta and release of Hytale will play out, as most predictions haven't been that in depth.
